2010 Ripple Effect Annual Report

Since 2007, Iowa Network Services has relied on IADG to maximize the strength, expertise, and leadership of local telephone companies to bring sustainable community development to rural Iowa, and specifically small communities.  For the past three years, IADG staff has assisted the local telephone companies in responding to their local community development challenges through the Ripple Effect program. Our assistance includes facilitating the efforts of business and industry seeking to locate in or near rural telecom service territories and packaging financial assistance for development projects, most notably the financing available through the USDA rural development loan and grant program. The 2010 Ripple Effect Annual Report highlights last year’s program activities.
