Bellevue, Iowa nestled along the banks of the Mississippi River is a picturesque community.  Loras Herrig, City Manager for the City of Bellevue, says, “We are a quiet little town that is really seeing some things happen.  The Off Shore Business Park will be a great asset for our community and the region.”

Take the scenic drive about a mile north of town on highway 52 and you will see something very positive is taking shape.  A.J. Spiegel, President and Founder of Mi-T-M Corporation envisioned a riverfront restaurant and hotel a few years ago.   The site was an old gravel pit that needed a plan for redevelopment.  Thanks to a new partnership with the City of Bellevue and nearly a million dollars of infrastructure and other major investments, the 43-acre Off Shore Business Park is becoming a reality.   With the infrastructure is in place a 5,400 sq.ft. restaurant is well under construction with a beautiful view of the river.   A 64 room hotel and conference center is in the planning stages that will include a 4,000 sq.ft. four-season pavillion.

“The site is perfect and the response to the complex has been tremendous,” says Mr. Spiegel.    “The rest of the business park becomes a natural setting for offices and other companies with these built in attractions and services,” stated Spiegel.

Bellevue is just 20 minutes south of Dubuque and the new Off Shore Business park will be provided power by Bellevue Municipal, which is a member of SIMECA, CIPCO, and Iowa Area Development Group.
