Puck Custom Enterprises Expands Near Manning

Puck Custom Enterprises (PCE) continues to grow and expand its operation with new product innovations and technology for the livestock waste management industry.  The company is located just south of Manning in Audubon County on the Puck family farm.   Ben Puck began manufacturing manure handling equipment in the late 1970s.  Through the years the company continued to improve their product line and capabilities.

Just a few years ago demand for their products continued to increase which required a new 15,000 sq.ft. manufacturing facility.   With a product development breakthrough for their new lagoon-system-agitator called the “Boat,”  Puck has already needed to expand with another 15,000 sq.ft. facility currently under construction.  Ben Puck, Owner of PCE said, “The Boat is getting a lot of attention from dairy producers and other livestock entities all across the country and into Canada.   We have built something that is a big advancement in the livestock waste management industry that increases efficiencies and helps the producers in a lot of ways.”

A past Iowa Venture Award recipient, Puck Custom Enterprises was also featured in the Wallace’s Farmer magazine.   Currently the company employs 15 people and sees future growth on the horizon as demand for the Boat and other waste management products continue to increase.   Western Iowa Power Cooperative provides power to the Puck Custom Enterprises project.
